LCWU Introduced Kitchen Gardening Technology – Lahore

Lahore, Kitchen gardening is a technology which enables us to grow bacteria free vegetables at house providing a good use of empty tins, old utensils and clay flower pots. This was stated in a function here at Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), organized by Department of Botany to introduce and highlight the Kitchen gardening technology.

Malik Abid Mehmood, Director Floriculture Punjab, was the chief guest as the experts in areas of Environment Science and Botany Dr. Kausr Jamal Cheema, Mrs. Zafar Hussain and Dr.Tahira Aziz Mughal expressed their scholastic opinions on the topic. Instructor Floriculture Shehnaz Akhtar Tariq delivered a special lecture and said which Government of Punjab is extremely keen to introduce this discipline in schools, colleges and universities.

Kitchen gardening technology is helpful to grow toxicity free organic vegetables like tomato, krela, dhanya, mint, garlic, pepper and onion etc at a little space in kitchen, rooms lawn and roof top. This activity can not only save our money and time except also can give a healthy, useful and environment friendly hobby for whole family.
